I work mainly with men who feel overwhelmed, stuck or disconnected despite appearing capable on the surface. Many are navigating burnout, relationship difficulties, life transitions or the pressure of always needing to perform.
If this feels like you, you won’t need to come in knowing what to say, or face your difficulties or fears alone.
I want you to feel able to bring all parts of yourself into the room. There are no ‘bad’ thoughts or feelings, and you’ll be met with curiosity rather than judgement. Together, we can explore whatever feels important to you, helping you make sense of your experiences and develop a deeper understanding of yourself. As a relational therapist with experience in attachment styles and psychodynamic therapy, I’m interested in how past experiences may continue to influence your thoughts, feelings and relationships in the present day.
As a male therapist, I have a particular appreciation of the challenges many men face and often struggle with in silence. I will be your committed advocate for positive change.
Before we start, I offer a 20-minute call or video introduction — a relaxed space to talk through what's bringing you to therapy, how you're feeling, and whether it feels like the right fit for you. There's no pressure either way: after we speak, the decision of whether to continue is entirely yours.
To begin with, my aim is to help you find your footing with what you're going through right now — easing the distress or discomfort you're carrying, and helping you feel steadier and calmer again, both in our sessions and in daily life. Together, we'll find the strategies that genuinely fit you, so you can start to feel more like yourself.
From conflict to communication issues, we'll explore how you relate to others — and to yourself — to create connection in your life.
Exploring the roots of worry, overthinking and tension — and finding ways to feel calmer, more grounded and in control.
If you are struggling to see your way through life and it's tasks, priorities and expectations, together we'll work out what is important to you and how to set our own path and pace.
Anger often hides pain, shame or fear. Together we'll unpack where it comes from and how to express it in healthier ways.
Exploring the space between who you were and who you're becoming — and finding ways to feel grounded, unstuck and clear on the next step.
If you've grown up being told to hide how you feel, we can work to unlearn that and reconnect you with your full emotional range.
If your inner critic is loud or constant, therapy can help you challenge unhelpful beliefs and build a stronger sense of self.
When life feels heavy or flat, we can create a space for you to reconnect with yourself, your emotions and what brings meaning.
Exploring the weight of loss, absence and change — and finding ways to feel steadier, more supported and less alone.
Exploring the exhaustion of doing too much for too long — and finding ways to feel restored, balanced and back in control.
Exploring what it feels like to be surrounded by people yet still feel alone — together finding ways to feel closer, seen and connected.
Exploring the frustration and uncertainty of an unexpected diagnosis or injury — and finding ways to cope, regain strength and feel more in control.
